Extra magic hours?

Could someone please explain to me how this works as we have never had these before What do we have to do etc

If you are staying in one of the onsite hotels or have dream annual passes you may be able to enter the Disneyland park 2 hrs early or stay for 2 extra hours. There are certain days with these times. During this time certain rides are open.
Am- You need to show your hotel id at the entrance
pm- you need to collect a wrist band after showing your hotel id

You get hotel id when you check in.

From other posts you get wrist bands at City Hall

When you check in try to pick up a leaflet about EMH from reception. This lists the rides open and days EMH is in operation (usually a 2/3 week list). It will also say on here where and when you can collect wristbands.
I think it is usually from 5.00pm on day from near City Hall/Main St station. Only one member of party needs to go to collect them but must have everyones passes to show as well as hotel id

if you can get into the parks earlier on certain days does that mean that breakfast will start earlier in the hotels?

I think breakfast usually starts from about 7ish in hotels.

So, if breakfasts start about 7am in the hotels, and EMH is 8am-10am, what time does the Good Morning Fantasyland Breakfast start? Is that 7am as well, or 9am (1 hour before normal park opening)?

I think GMF started at 8.00 when there was EMH 8-10 so really you dont gain extra time in park by doing this.
What we did though was do EMH then have late GMF breakfast just before park opened to rest of crowds

Good plan, that is what I am planning too.

We go to Bognor Regis this weekend for another holiday but with the floods across the country here I am a little worried.

Goodmorning fantasyland is one hour before the park opens to the public.

The wristbands can be collected at 5 under mainstreet station
if nobody is there (or you are to late you can get them from cityhall)

the breakfast timings are from 7am.
