Extra Magic Hour

Hi All,

I wondered if someone could please explain how the extra magic hour works? I had read somewhere that it didn't exist any longer, but then I read that it did. What's the scoop, and how do we do it?

Extra Magic hours do still exist for Disney Resort guests. You would just need to be staying at one of the Disney properrty resorts (or the Swan/Dolphin or the Hilton at Lake Buena Vista). Each park has a different day that it opens early and certain attractions that will be open for you. You would need to have a park ticket and also show your resort ID card for entry. It would be one hour prior to the listed opening time (which usually makes it at 8am)... Here is a list of the days and the rides:

Sunday - Magic Kingdom
Monday - Disney's Animal Kingdom
Tuesday - Disney-MGM Studios
Wednesday - Epcot
Thursday - Magic Kingdom
Friday - Disney's Animal Kingdom
Saturday - Disney-MGM Studios


Magic Kingdom:
Astro Orbiter, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin
Cinderella's Carrousel, Dumbo, Mad Tea Party
Main Street vehicles, Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan,
Snow White's Scary Adventures, Space Mountain,
Tomorrowland Indy Speedway, Tomorrowland Transit Authority

Epcot:
Mission: SPACE, Spaceship Earth, Test Track, Universe of Energy

Disney-MGM Studios:
Jim Henson's Muppet*Vision, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, Star Tours
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror,

Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme :
Discovery Island Trails, It's Tough to be a Bug!, Kilimanjaro Safaris, Pangani Forest Exploration Trail,The Tree of Life

We just did the extra magic hour a few nights, ago we did all the rides listed, I think there are about 12 rides with no lines, in a couple of hours.
