Extra magic hour, what gives?

I think the week of Jan 16-22 will be a good indication for you. If those are changed, as those 2 sites show, then you know they actually have the inside scoop & I'd believe what they say for Feb. If it works out that week goes back to the "set" schedule (ie the same as the previous 2 weeks), then maybe this was changed at some point, but changed back to avoid confusion. Then I'd rely on the set schedule. I know that's still cutting it close for PS's, but it's better than those of us trying to figure out that Jan 16th week!

I don't have access to the "portal" site. I must not have phrased my question incorrectly. What I'm trying to ask is which emh for the week of Jan.16 - Jan.21 are correct? The ones the CMs gave me or the ones I found out from the other sources (Deb's page, and this site). Thanks a million for answering my questions n2mm.

I'm sorry, I thought you had access. Both WDWig and WDWinfo have very accurate information. I think what is happening is that when you call and ask info of the CMs, they probably have a document they read from. I recently was talking to a CM/Dining and asked where she was at and she said Texas and they didn't even have access to the employee website. There is one page on the website that has the list of what the "standard" days are going to be, but only if you check the actual hours/calendar you can see the daily breakdown and the fluctuation of changes. I do trust the information from WDWinfo.com, they seem to know very quickly of any changes.

Texan for Feb 4-12 is listed as:

4-MK morning
5-AK morning
6-AK evening
7-Epcot morning
8-MGM morning / Epcot evening
9-MK Evening
10-MGM Evening
11-MK morning
12- AK morning
13-MK morning
14-Epcot evening

Also to the other question about january 19, yes...that is listed as Epcot in the evening I must have missed that in my original post sorry.

Jan 31- Epcot Morning
Feb 1- MGM morning/ Epcot evening
Feb 2- MK evening
Feb 3- AK evening
Feb 4- MK morning

LibertyBelle: Thank you for the info. I have actually gone to the length of making an Excel chart and trying to figure out the changes from all of the web sites. I know it is obsessive but my family is the have fun until you drop kind. Everything seems to be the same on all the sites except on Tuesday the 8th, one site just says Epcot evening and other sites say MGM morning and Epcot evening. I wonder why they would have this day as both an extra morning and an extra evening. Hmm. I might survive this. I think I will go ahead and take the plunge and start making my PS's. Thanks again.

For those that are going in mid-February, the schedule is also slightly different for the week of 2/13:

Sun 2/13: MK evening
Mon 2/14: EP early
Tue 2/15: MGM early, AK evening
Wed 2/16: MGM evening
Thurs 2/17: EP evening
Fri 2/18: MK morning
Sat 2/19: AK morning

The schedule change has wreaked havoc with my plans: we're arriving on 2/13 and leaving on 2/18, so we can't take advantage of any MK EMH. On the flip side, if we decide to avoid the EMH parks, the fact that MGH has EMH two days in a row also limits our planning.

We're 5 weeks away from leaving and my DH is already starting to roll his eyes over my many trip itineraries! But, I'm sure he'll appreciate all the hard work when we have a great trip -- just as long as Disney doesnt' change these dates again!

Just wanted to update this thread to say that as of today the official Disney site changed to show the same hours/dates as this site, allears, and Libertybelle have been telling us all along for the week of Jan 16-22! I can provide the link if anyone needs it!
