Extra Magic hour on check out day?

Just wondering if we would have access to the EMH on checkout day. We are staying three nights at DLH so would get 2, one for each park definitely. Just wanting to know to help with planning. We are planning on visiting the parks on our checkout day as we don't leave until 3pm.

YES! We packed- threw everything to the bellhop and hopped into the park one last time before leaving at 11am!

Can anyone tell me how it works checkin and check out day? I thought you had to show a key or something? So assuming you would have to be there early to check in to get it that day? Trying to make the most of our time so this is good news!

Yes, I did it this morning while staying at Grand California.

You can check in as early as 6 am. They'll give you your room keys even if your room isn't ready. And you don't need to turn In your keys at check out. Your dates are printed on the keys so they'll know at the gate when they're valid.

When we checked into the GC we waited over by a sign and the bellman stored them for us while we went to the park; I think we checked in around 1pm? Then they texted me once my room was ready and we headed back, gave them a call and they brought it all up for us. Same on check out, they held everything until we came back to catch the shuttle to the airport.
