Extra Long Lanyard Needed

Hi Friends,

I am looking for a lanyard longer in length than the ones currently sold in WDW. This lanyard would be for a taller than average adult.

It does not have to be an official Disney lanyard, but such would be ideal.

I don't know that you will find any for sale, you may be able to make one tho.

I just finished making two lanyards last night.

I bought the supplies at one of our local hunting/camping/fishing "guy" stores.

They have what they call "sleeping bag replacement straps". They come 2 to a package and come in 3/4" and 1" width. The ones I bought were 4' long each.

I bought the plastic "strap connectors" there as well.

I paid $1.59 for the strap and .99 for the connectors.

I didn't want my lanyard to be solid black so I went to Walmart and got a spool of the Disney character ribbon and covered the strap with that.

It looks great, and it gave me something to do while I am anxiously counting down the days to our next trip.

So, for about $5 (ribbon, straps and connectors) and I was able to make 2 lanyards.

They sell mickey head grosgrain ribbon (about 1 1/2 inch width) at Hancock Fabrics that would be perfect for a lanyard!
