Extra Key for Room

We will be making several trips down between June and the end of this year as my son will be there on the College Program So excited about many trips and having a College Program kid in the family.

My question is, if I wish to get an extra key for him when we check in, so that he can come and go as he pleases, will I be able to do that even though he will not actually be staying in the room with us?

I don't see any reason not to, it is your keys. You might want to give him one with no charge privilege on it, that is what I do with my guests. If he has a car you also might want to get him a pass for the car so he can get into the resort also.

Every time I have come down to visit my daughter who is on the WDWCP, I have gotten an extra room key for her, as well as a resort parking permit. Never had any problem with the request at the All-Stars, CBR, or PO. Sometimes she stays with me; sometimes not.
