Hey everyone! I'm not sure if this question was already adressed or not. When Disney opens their parks an extra three hours later for the people who stay at the Disney resorts, is it usually crowded? I am going June 13-19. Are most of the rides open then? Or is it better to get all the rides done with during the day. Any answers would be greatly appreciated! :thumbsup2

We really enjoyed evening EMH. It was a lot less crowded than morning EMH and it was cool to splash down Splash Mountain in the dark.

We had the opposite experience this year. EMH at night was CROWDED during our May 20-29th stay. Wait times for things like Splash Mountain and Space Mountain were often 45 minutes or more!! Now when we went in 2005, late EMH nights were GREAT and we walked right on most rides. Maybe if we would have REALLY stayed--like past 1am or so, it would have slowed down, but as it was, it was crowded! We still had a boat-load of fun though and can't wait to start planning for next year!!!! :cool1:

We always LOVE the MORNING EMH and are able to get a lot of attractions in before the crowds hit. However, the EMH in the EVENING was an absolute nightmare and we would NEVER attempt it again. We were absolutely gridlocked in Tomorrowland to the point where it was actuall scary. The line for Space Mountain was so unbelieveable - remember no fastpasses for EMH - I can't understand why anyone would wait that long.

This was OUR experience.

do you think it makes a difference what time of the year you are traveling. Say for instance if you are there doing a slower season when the parks close earlier?
