Hi There -
Every year our company has kids from local United Way charities come in to trick-or-treat. It's great fun! We all decorate our cubicles and dress in costume, it's "fun" day at work - and a great break from the daily stresses.
This year it seems they overestimated the number of kids that were going to come.
I've got several POUNDS of lollipops and jolly rancher candies left over.
I was wondering if anyone has an idea of what to do with this leftover candy? I had heard about people shipping candy to soldiers stationed overseas? Has anyone done that? I know I cannot ship it to "any soldier" so I would need the name of someone to ship it to.
If anyone on this board could use the candy for a shelter or something I would be willing to ship it out to you, just PM me.
Hope someone could use it! I'd hate to toss it, and there's no way my nieces are getting all that candy when they come visit for Thanksgiving!
