I have a question about the intimate wedding. It is 3000.00 for 4 guests besides the bride and groom, right? How much per person are the other guests? If we had 10 or 15.

I believe you have been misinformed.

Depending on your location... you can have x amount of people. For SBP I believe the count is 18....

I have never heard of only 6 people being allowed at the wedding including bride and groom.

I am almost certain you will be fine!

I think the location at the polynesian can only accomidate 10 people which would be you, the groom, and 8 more.. I think the Wilderness Lodge location is the same. I might be wrong with the number, but I believe those two places have smaller amount of guests that can come.

That's why I ended up choosing SeaBreeze Point.. and even the 18 guests that allows really wasn't enough, but we made due. We have additional people coming who aren't going to be able to attend the wedding ceremony but they will come to the dinner that night.

good luck!

Both Maggie and Luna are correct. The price includes up to 20 ppl (including you and DF) unless you choose the locations with a max count of 10! The only extra will be if you want extra chamagne for the toast, as the bottle can only do aprox 8 glasses (I believe). The cake will accomidate up to 20 ppl as well! Hope this helps!:thumbsup2

yes, maggimus is right. you pay the same amount regardless of whether there are two of you or the maximum amount of people. each intimate location has a maximum number of guests allowed that you must stick to--no exceptions. but some locations hold more people than others. Like Sea Breeze Point (at the Boardwalk) will allow you to have 18 guests + the bride and groom, which is 20 total. but a place like Sunset Point (at the Polynesian) will only allow something like 8 guests + the bride and groom, 10 total, due to the size of the location.

The base price is the same for all of the intimate locations--regardless of the number of guests--except for the wedding pavilion, which is more money. But the same intimate guest maximums apply.

Then you can add all kinds of extras to the base price if you want to, like cake upgrades, carriage rides, extra floral decorations, etc.

But when they are talking about four people maximums, I believe they are talking about how much the included champagne will serve, and things like that. And even that depends on how much you pour into each glass. My coordinator said even though only one bottle is included in the intimate package, it's possible to stretch the included bottle to 6-8 glasses if less is in each glass. And you are able to pay extra for as many bottles as you need to accomodate your guests. We are having extra bottles to serve all 18 of our guests.

Also, there are many more options available to intimate brides than there ever used to be, according to my planner, so if you want to do something that isn't mentioned, just ask, and you'll find that there are tons of things you can do! We are doing SO many extra and different things even though we are an intimate.

I don't know if this helps you at all, but i hope it does a little bit! best of luck with your planning!

Would you like to share all your 'extra's - just in case I've missed something!

hi, dee! well, i don't know if my extras are anything new or different, but i just know that intimate brides don't just have to stick to the standard package. and there are things that if you just ask about, sometimes they can be done for free!

like you don't have to have champagne for your toast. you could have mimosas, or cosmopolitans, or beer and wine if you want to. you have to pay for it, but it's not that different price-wise than the champagne. like we decided to have pink champagne instead of the standard one since one of my colors is pink.

we also made some changes to the look of the standard cake. and we are having additional musicians at the ceremony, and even though we are getting married at Sea Breeze Point, we are having a coach. not cinderella's coach, but the landau coach. it's an open air coach that's drawn by a single horse. I can't wait!!!! and we are also having a reception in the napa room at the california grill and are having our cocktail hour around when the Wishes fireworks are.

you can also get favors for anything you want, any kind of flowers you want, etc...like we are having a ladies tea at the Grand Floridian the day before the wedding and we ordered the cutest white chocolate teacup favors!

i am just so glad that we could add these details to individualize the wedding without having to make it a custom, because we don't need the room blocks, room for the larger number of people, etc. I still got to make it my own.

i'm sorry for rambling so OT!! i hope this helped Dee!

Actually, I am the brides mother. We are just starting to look into the Disney Wedding site and I did not understand until now about the guests. That site is so frustrating. I have another question. My daughter wants to "hire" the Groom's sister and husband who are professional photographers to do the wedding. Will they allow this? Will they then be counted as guests or photographers. Do these places only hold 18 people? I don't understand. I am leaving for Beach Club Villa on Sunday. Is there any suggestions of what I should check out for her while I'm there? Thank you so much ladies. This is so much fun!

Why don't you call DFTW and see if you and talk to someone while you are there? They could answer any questions you have. We did this while we were there last time. And they were really helpful

PrincessDisneyBelle is right - a meeting would be the best way to get all your questions answered, but here are some quick answers:

I'm pretty sure that, basically, if they eat, your family photographers will be considered guests and count toward the quota. Only Sunrise Terrace (at the Wilderness Lodge) and Sunset Pointe (at the Polynesian) have restrictions on the number of guests - it's 10 max, including the bride and groom.

The other locations hold way more than 18 people, but if you have more than 18 people Disney requires you to do a custom wedding, rather than an Intimate. Custom weddings have minimum expeditures that start at $10,000.
