Hello!

I have a question and I haven't been able to find an answer by searching.

I had an issue I informed guest services about and for my "inconvenience" they gave our family 2 extra fastpasses per day of our trip, Yay! :cheer2:

But, I got to thinking the other day, when can I book our next fastpass at the kiosk in the parks?

Will it let me after our 3rd actual fastpass we booked ourselves or will I need to wait until the 5th one is used?

Does anyone have experience with these?

You'll probably have to go to GR each day and get paper FP.

I don't know. I've seen a plethora of differing methods of delivering these.

Maybe you can ask GR via email what to do, or whoever you've been communicating with.

I already have the 2 extra fastpasses booked on my MDE, the CM's in guest services added them on their end. I have my rides and times already set on there for all 5 fastpasses per day of our trip.

But they are listed differently than the 3 I made.

It says guest experience and you have to click on view details to see what ride it's for and which members of our group have the fastpasses.

I'm just trying to figure out if I will be able to make a fastpass at the kiosk after the 3rd of our original ones are used or if I would need to wait until that 5th one is used?

We had two extra fastpasses added last November after a snafu at the Frozen Sing-Along. (We had fastpasses for the show, but they let in standby AHEAD of the entire fastpass line, so hundreds of people with fastpasses, including us, did not get to see the show. Apparently, someone had a heart attack in the standby line, which caused confusion among the CMs when they started moving people to assist the person.)

They added two FPs for each of us, directly on to our magic bands, but we had to immediately pick them. We added them for a subsequent Magic Kingdom day. They told us we had to go back to Guest Relations to change them. We could not change them in the MDE app.

After we used our first three FPs at MK, we were able to add a 4th FP, but we could not schedule them during the windows where the two "bonus FPs" were scheduled.

Not sure this helps -- your experience may be different than ours was.

Yes! Thanks, that helped a ton!

I didn't realize that they could just add fast passes to your account like that. (A nice customer service perk for sure).

The fact that fastpasses can just be added at will like that makes me wonder ...

Wouldn't it be cool if you got a free additional fast pass on your birthday? (Just the individual .. not the family .. that would just be too abused I think).

OR ..

Will a "FastPass Premium" option be added like the Park Hopper?
Pay $X to get 2 more Fast Passes per day of your trip?

I honestly think that would sell more than the hopper or water park option .. but of course would probably wreck the delicate balance of fast passes already and the hard to get fast passes would just be harder to get.

Typically this type of FP for service recovery reasons is issued in a paper certificate format by GR, these certificates are called "No Strings Attached" it is basically a slip where the GR CM can check boxes indicating a free FP, free beverage, free ice cream, etc... If the GR CM promised you FP for every single day of your stay then they should have written out all the certificates for you on the spot, if you come back to another GR location and simply ask for this you will most definitely be questioned unless you are lucky enough to find the same CM that you originally spoke with. Are you sure he/she said "every day" ? Did he/she write you any certificates? If so, then perhaps the CM meant only for that one day...

We've been given these on 3 trips. The first time was because The Plaza was late seating us (it was only by 20 minutes and we didn't complain; a CM went around and gave one to every occupied table.) and it was a yellow slip. The following two times were because of excessive time spent at guest services working out glitches with our MB (my aunt and grandmother have the same name, different spellings of their first name though, and my grandmother was completely wiped from the system and unrecognized as an AP holder among many other things) and one time we were given paper "good anytime" FP+ and the second time the FP+ were linked to our MB.

In November we had some issues multiple times with our RFID cards so were given extra FP+ for a single day - 3 extra passes each. They were loaded automatically onto our MDE account for our MK day and we could claim them for any ride other than A&E or 7 Dwarfs. Since we had 6 FP+ and did RopeDrop and had young kids we never even tried to get new FP+ at all so I can't answer the OP's question. I'm sharing just to show that the CM's have a LOT of leeway in what/how they give stuff like this out.

We had problems with our tickets not working in Feb and they us one fp for each one of us. It was added to our MDE and we could use it for any ride at any time that day. We just walked up to a ride, touched the fp post and went on.

They add them to your account electronically. They have done this for us a lot. It isnt a NSA it is literally attached in your MDE under each person with the extra FPs and you dont have to book anything, you just go up to any ride with FP and tap amd it turns green.

Yep, ours are on my MDE all ready and waiting for us when we get there on the June 7th.

Ours are a little different because they aren't for any ride, they called me on my 60 day mark so they could go in to my MDE and add the rides and times we wanted to do with our our two extra fastpasses per day of the trip.

We were given an extra FP last week because our magic bands wouldn't open our room door. The manager at the front desk added it to our MDE account. It could be used for any ride that day.

I had an issue with tickets before our trip last summer and a phone cm gave us three extra fp for first 2 days. Those couldn't be changed on app but we were able to get mine train and a&e so we were happy. Having 6 fp those two days was awesome.
