Extra Day with Sky Auction Bonnet Creek

Hi All,

We are finally planning a return trip to Orlando from Ireland this August. Our last trip was in 2009 and we stayed partly on site at the Wilderness Lodge and part at the StoryTime Villa in Windsor Hills. This time the boys are older and I really like the look of WBC based on the info on this site!

My question is - there seems to be good value on Sky Auctions at the moment for WBC, but I would have to check out 1 day too early (have to check in and out on a Friday and we fly home on Saturday 20th). Does anyone know whether it will be possible to buy one day and add it on at the end? I have read somewhere that there is a 2 night min is that right?

Also, if I buy 2 weeks from Sky Auction (August 5th - August 19th) - would I be able to separately reserve for my first 4 nights, (August 1 - 5) from another agency and combine the booking so we don't have to move units?

Alternatively, would you recommend any other booking site. I would love a 2 bed (we have 2 teen boys) but the cost is high at $178/night at Vacation Strategies.

What about spending the last day in a different area - like Clearwater, Tampa (go to Busch Gardens the day before you fly out), Cocoa Beach, or an airport hotel?

I combine two bookings frequently. Even though Skyauction seldom sends your information to the resort more than 1 day ahead of time, I have never had problems combining the two reservations. I mention it at check in so they can put a note on my record then go to the front desk the day before to make sure the reservations are merged and to get the new parking pass and room keys. The two reservations must be for the exact size and type of unit. If the resort has different levels of two bedroom units (standard or deluxe), they must be the same type of unit.

Remember that inventory changes every day. The other days you need may show up at a later date.

Thanks for suggestions regarding the last night! I hate the idea of packing twice but it sounds like we might not have a choice if we want to stay at Bonnet Creek! Hopefully it will come in later.
