We are planning to drive down Labor Day Monday and our first day at a park will be Tuesday

Tuesday. MK and DHS fantasmic
Wed - AK
Thursday - MK BOG PPO breakfast and OHana for dinner
Friday ?
Saturday -DHS
Sunday MK

We had considered a water park and switch somethings kings so we did that on Wednesday instead but not sure if it would be worth the hassle with my then basically two year old. Side note my kids love waterparks even the baby loves any slide she can go on, alone or with a parent. (We would go to a park maybe in the evening with a couple FP+)

Is there something else that we may find enjoyable to do that I'm not pulling up into my brain that doesn't break the bank?

You don't have EPCOT in there anywhere, so that's something to consider, but my kids never really loved that park until they got a little older. Honestly, with small children, having a break in the middle is never a bad idea. My kids are now teens, and we still take a mid-week break on long trips, and do a casual day at the resort, or some shopping at Disney Springs.

We are not a fan of EP minus Test Track, Soarin and the Nemo area but since tiny tot can't ride the big rides, that feels like a waste

I would play it by ear. If the kids aren't too tired or want to hop into a park, go to one. You don't say where you are staying but a few of the resorts on site have great pools so they might enjoy just hanging around the resort and swimming. I wouldn't totally discount Epcot, Living with the seas is a great place for little ones and Turtle talk is fun. My son always loved Epcot, even as a toddler but you know your kids. They might decide they want to go back to MK for part of the day as well.

If you are staying onsite, I would take advantage of the poolside entertainment for the afternoon. They play all kinds of games, do crafts, play music, etc. and the kids have a great time. After dinner, go to the movie under the stars near the pool for a free family movie night. It will be a great low key day in the middle of your busy week and no additional cost required!

Honestly, I think adding an extra day to your ticket is going to be about the cheapest option. Maybe just do a few hours at Epcot, hit the headliners while the baby splashes in the splash pad.

Alternatively, one of my favorite WDW experiences ever was renting a boat and exploring the waters. Not sure how much fun that is anymore. You could also rent a golf cart for the day and explore Fort Wilderness.

Well almost every day we go back to the hotel for a break and swim time usually for the kids. And we already plan to have the extra day on our ticket so we could do what we want even if it was later on in the day. We have never stayed all day at the resort before (we only plan to be at ASMovies) my only deal there is that it is just a pool which was why we were considering the waterpark for the one day. It would be about $100 more for us to add that to our hopper we already have. We have never done a waterpark at Disney either.... it is hard to remember exactly how the other two were when they were that young and then imagine my tiny tot that big.... ;) on exactly how independent she is going to be

I second the campground at FW. If staying at ASM take a bus to the ticket and transportation center at MK and take a boat ride over to FW. From there it's a short walk through a beach area to a large playground. From there it's a short walk to the barn area where many of the horses who work at DW live and you can tour the barns. There is also an area where you can do pony rides for under $5.00. My six year old loves it.

With little ones, I would do an early morning at MK, long afternoon break at the pool, nap time, dinner, then a few hours back at MK.

I was surprised by what my kids liked, and they loved Epcot. I say try whatever you think is fun, that they can do, and have a back-up plan.

Here is a thought that just occurred to me. What about the extra morning being used at AK since the addition of Pandora?? Does anyone know yet if there are height requirements on the new rides? Also this is the first time we are going with a younger one that won't make it on all the rides since FP+ comes out. How will the riderswitch pass work now? I have read , I think, that one parent can FP a ride and another can FP another ride but everyone can ride bc of the rider pass? But I didn't know if that was true still bc of the other kids maybe needing a FP too?

PS we haven't seen the movie but plan to before we go.
