Hi!

We have an 8 day trip planned around Halloween this year. Kids are 4, 5 and 9. We will spend most of our time in the parks, but have a couple of extra days. One of those days will be a rest/pool day, but we're not sure where to spend the other.

Given the age of our kids, do you have any thoughts or recommendations on whether we should add a water park (Blizzard Beach), SeaWorld, Universal or Discovery Cove as the extra day?

Thanks!

Sea World! It is so relaxing after the craziness of Disney (good craziness, of course). The shows are incredible and there are rides, too. Discovery Cove is also incredible, but I would wait until your two youngester are older so they can do the dolphin swim. Also, wait until your two youngest are older and more into Harry Potter before doing Universal.

Just did my off day at Discovery Cove last week! I cannot wait to go back. My original intention was to do a Universal day, but decided on Discovery Cove instead. It was so relaxing, and meals/snacks/beer/wine were all included and unlimited. I really felt like I got my money's worth from the day. It's a very unique experience as far as theme parks go, and very underrated in my opinion. Looking back, the thought of spending another day on my feet, battling crowds sounds miserable, no matter how much I love Harry Potter. Discovery Cove was like a nice little oasis in the midst of a jam packed Disney trip.
