Hi all!
Im new to all of this so i'm a tad confused! :(

we're thinking of heading to Disneyland for 2 or 3 nights on the 23rd Feb! :) Theres an offer on the disneyland website that you get 4days/3nights for the price of 3days/2nights and one of the weeks of offer is 22nd feb- 28th feb (the week we're going:))

I tried booking it on the website for 2nights/3days and the price is 342.00 but then for 4nights/3days its 486..wheres the extra night free offer?

If they have rooms reserved for just when you arrive at the hotel..how can I be sure there will be availability.. and finally does this include the 20% off offer too?

Sorry for all the questions :( (I've been to disneyland about 15-20 times in the past 13years..and the stress my mother must have been under each time with all this planning lol)

When you're at the page that gives you the prices, it will say on the left hand side whether you've had the "extra night free" offer applied, it may be only certain hotels, try with a different hotel and hopefully you'll see the text. The price that comes up though is inclusive of any offers. If you want to stay 4 nights, that's what you type into the box, it should only charge you then the same as a 3 night stay.
Hope that makes sense. :)

they only have a certain number of rooms available for each offer. maybe try another hotel or can you play around with your dates. also those offers wont apply on the same date. hth

Thanks for the reply!
I've tried it on the cheyenne, santa fe & newport bay club & its still chrging a different price for both nights..in the tc's it says the extra night must be taken at the end of the stay..so would that mean that you just mention it upon check-in..or would it have to be booked?
:confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

no when you are on the booking page it will tell you if any offers have been applied. and that is the price you are charged

It has to be booked, maybe the dates and hotel you want to go are all out of extra day and night rooms as already said there is only a certain numbers of these rooms avaliable.

the newport has 20% off on your dates and if you book in the on the 24th the sequioa has 20% off as well

thank you everyone for the help! much appreciated!! :)
mommy2ash - i dont suppose the cheyenne or santa fe has the 20% off or the extra night offer..trying to keep costs to a minimum as much as possible :)
the disney site has just gone bust on me..keeps telling me the session has timed out & some error that the page cant be displayed :(:sad2:

Ok had a look for you, the extra day and night free seems to be at the Newport Bay only on the 23rd February arrival.

You also can't mix and match the 20% off deal with day and night free, its one or the other. If you give Disney a call, and get a good CM they will work out the best value choice for your stay with you.

edit: I'd recommend giving them a call. I've had offers through the phone which were coming up as sold out on the website.

isit just me or does anyone else keep getting redirected to a page saying the session has timed out?? :(

thanks for the help everyone

Hi claire2612,

Elaine, Jackie, Elaine and Reid welcome you to DLP DIS board :flower3:

We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread, or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each

I get frustrated with the Disney site when number-crunching too - I often only get one or 2 price enquiries, then the whole site crashes for me, and I can't get any more prices to come up, unless I switch off my computer and start again.

I hope you manage to find a good deal :goodvibes

that happens to me all the time i have to shut down the laptop and then it comes up again. are you held to those dates. i think a lot of french schools are on holidays then so that might be why the offers are sold out. if you have no luck i would try to ring them.

Thanks for the welcome guys!
Tried shutting the laptop down but still no luck! Grr!!

The newport is 506 for 4nights with the offer..
or santa fe is 342 for two nights..
Bit pricey as its the boyfriends birthday that weekend so im already swamped for cash as i'll be buying his present!..oh the thoughts!!

I remember before when I was younger I stayed in a hotel in Noissy Le Grand, only 2 or 3 stops on the train from Disney..works out cheaper to stay there for 3nights and buy the park passes than to stay in santa fe for 2nights..would that be the logical thing to do? (I need a second opinion..I sometimes quesiton my strange mind rotfl2: )

have you considered staying at the Holiday Inn or Kyriad hotel, booking them through expedia? I looked at the mon 23 - thurs 26, 3 nights and....

The Kyriad is coming out at £248 for three nights ( no Disney Tickets )

and

The Holiday Inn is coming out at £189.09 for three nights ( again no Disney Tickets )

They both have a shuttle bus that takes you to the park in 5 minutes and i've stayed at the HI before and it was great. (although the HI is being upgraded i think, not sure what work is going on though)

This could be better for you, you could get annual passes to and go again later in the year plus you get discounts that come with them for meals, drinks and the gift shop etc

May be worth a though, you'd get 10% discount too if you got someone to sponsor ( which i can if you want :) )

Hope this helps a little, have a read of the sticky useful info at the top of the forum, these helped me a lot.

It certainly can do. You can buy a Fantasy AP for £120 each plus a cheap(ish) Hotel for between £160-180 for 23rd-26th Feb

Hotels Nr Disney - Expedia

hotel im thinking of is 47€ per night

4day pass for disney is 134€ so may consider buying the annual pass for a trip back later in the year :)
May be a bad idea though..the year my mam got them for the family, I think we visited disney 6 or 7 times that year :rotfl:

yeah i wanted to buy them for my next trip but got bogged down by booking everything so i just booked with disney. i definately wouldnt book without a discount so if it works out cheaper then i go for it

The Cap'n pirate: has the right idea

I'd push for the Holiday Inn, if there are no works going on which peeps which have recently visited DLP can confirm. Then this could be a real steal and would certainly be worth thinking about. Reading the hotel info sticky would give you an idea of what it's like, a very nice Holiday Inn.

And if you did go this route it would be better to get annual passes then hopper tickets as the discounts that come with them would really help you out. The discount can really add up depending on where you eat, and what gifts you would buy and the passes would only cost a little more.

Have fun :wave2:

AP cant be used for the two days following its purchase? How does that work if you can only buy it at the gate?

The Dream and Fantasy AP's can be, the cheaper fracillian AP can't. ( as this is intended for the local population and has more block out dates and less discounts.
