Southern California Extra day in LA

We fly in to lax on Thursday morning, there will be 4 adults and 2 kids (ages5 & 8) what would you suggest doing the rest of that day? We are going to universal studios Friday, then making our way on Saturday to disneyland, so I need suggestions for Saturday as well, I thought of Hollywood walk of fame on thursday and maybe Venice beach on Saturday, but any other suggestions would be great! Thanks in advance!

I would reverse those days. You'll already be near the beach when you're at LAX, and you'll be near Hollywood when you're at Universal.

Since you'll be at LAX the Long Beach Aquarium is pretty close. You could spend a few hours there and a bit at the beach before heading to your motel.

It's not that close. It's half an hour without traffic. However, it's worth it for AoP. It's a very nice and large aquarium and a cheaper/closer alternative if you can miss the big animals, shows, and rides.
