extra bright christmas lights

dh and i have seen christmas lights out that seem extra bright and vivid. What might these be.

Could they be the LED lights? I know I have some and they seem brighter then the regular kind.

My guess also is LED lights. These will use significantly less current and the bulbs won't burn out for an extreamely long time.

I havent seen them. I totally Griswold my house, maybe I need these!

The LED lights are more expensive to purchase, but are supposed to be very economical to operate - something like 80% cheaper. We need new lights for outside and I think we're going to go with the LED's.

They also don't get nearly as hot as regular lights. I think DH and I might start stocking up on them after Christmas when they go on sale.

I love a Griswolded house! We do the same. These are the lights he got and I am going out today to get some for the outside. Apparently Harrows filed bankruptcy and are having some crazy sales.
