Extra Adult Fee

I was trying to modify my January 2024 All Star Movies room only reservation (Disney VISA rate) to add a third adult. It seemed to jump over $17 per night? I thought it was $15? Did it go up, or am I being charged a different room rate?

Was that before or after tax? After taxes it will be higher.

After taxes. But if the extra adult charge is $15, then over $2 is taxes is a little steep (even for Disney)?

Taxes on hotel rooms in Central FL is around 13%.

Correct. And it's kinda odd too that most WDW resorts the tax is 12.5% but the All Stars are 13.5%. So $15 x 13.5% = $17.02.

I believe the taxes are different for different resorts because they're not all located in the same county.

The All Stars are in Osceola County. The other Disney resorts are in Orange County. Different tax rates.

I confirmed the extra adult charge was $15, plus those outrages taxes.
