curious on how my 3 yr old can participate in the activities in Oceaneer Club. do they ask the kids for permission first? I'm sure it would be a great experience for her. just not sure if she'll understand it too well. thanks.

If your 3 yo is completely potty trained, you can register her in the Oceaneer's Club and leave her there anytime they're open (9:00am to 12:00pm at least). You will receive a Kid's Navigator in your stateroom that lists the activity schedule. They group the kids by age with the 3-4s together so the activities they do are age appropriate.

FYI, if she's not potty trained, she can participate if you stay with her.

When you register her, they will give you a pager so you can be contacted any time she's in the Club. Then when she wants to go to the club (or you want to have her participate) you check her in at the desk and you both have a great time.

You might want to check out the Kid's Navigators on http://www.dcltribute.com/navigators/. Click on the length of cruise you're interested in and then choose the Kid's and Teen's navigators.

Thanks for the reply. What I meant was... how do they participate in the farewell show and other possible shows. Thanks again.

They teach the little ones (ages 3&4) a cute little song they sing on stage at the show and then they seat them on the stage edge while the older kids do there numbers. It's really cute and you are permitted to video tape the show! Plus they get a free tee shirt. Some of the 3 yr olds were rather clueless, but that made the show that much cuter!!!

Pretty much everyone who shows up at the appointed time gets to participate. It's a very inclusive show, the kids have fun and you get to see pictures of their activities during the week as part of the show.

Participation in the show just involves your child being taken to the show rehearsal (time on the kid's navigator). They learn motions to a song and how to sign M_I_C_K_E_Y etc.....the little ones just sit there and imitate the counsellor...or just sit. They get a t-shirt for participating (even if they chicken out and don't get on stage). That is the only participation show.

They do attend a show and sometimes movies with the club/lab groups. All you do is show up at the time on the kid's navigator which you will get the first day when you register your child.
