Target has 2 drives for the same price, a 500gig and a 1TB. I'm heading out soon to buy the 1TB, it's not a doorbuster deal. Only an idiot would wait outside all night for a $60 hard drive. And btw the doorbuster tv Target had didn't have a builtin tuner, I checked it out online yesterday. The one at Walmart has a digital tuner but not a QAM. For the $2 difference in price I'd get the Walmart one but it has a horrible reputation for quality. If they have them is another story but I personally didn't see anything worth leaving the house early for this year.

I wouldn't trust Amazon reviews. You should review on Consumer Reports or C-Net.

I walked into Target at 10am and got 1 each of their external drives, in and out in less than 10 minutes. In case you're wondering what the difference is between the 500gb and the 1tb, the 500 is a true portable that is powered by the usb cable in your desktop/laptop while the 1tb has its own power supply and has to be plugged into a wall outlet.
