We're going to WDW in September for 10 days, followed by a Disney Cruise for a week. When we get back from the cruise, our flights don't leave until 9PM - so we really wanted to head back to the parks for the afternoon (we've got a rental car).
Our MYW tickets will have been expired for two days though, since we'll be 16 days out from the first day of use, which is just past the 14 days. I've contacted both the customer support line and the guest services e-mail to see if there's any way to get the tickets extended - we'll have an extra day on our tickets, we're spending all of our time at Disney, etc. - and so far have been told no, that's just not possible. Has ANYONE been able to extend the expiration date on their MYW extended past the 14 days?
I'm okay if we have to pay the extra money to go back to the parks for a few hours - it just seems silly, when Disney's already getting all of our money this trip, and we're only two days past the expiration. Also, we've got free dining, so we can't just switch to a split stay.
