We are renting DVC points and currently have a confirmed booking at OKW for 3 nights. We are considering renting more points to extend our stay but the owner we rented from doesn't have any more points. If we were to rent from another member for OKW, can the 2 reservations be linked so we don't have to change rooms?

You would have to give both reservation confirmation numbers to each owner, and each owner would have to contact DVC Member Services and request that a "continuing stay" notice be placed on the reservation they made. If both owners are willing to do that, great. If not, then when you arrive you need to visit the front desk and let them know and ask to stay in the same room. In either case, whether the two are linked as a continuing stay before arrival or after, it's just a request that may or may not be fulfilled, but since it's to the resort's benefit to keep you in the same room and not have to perform a checkout cleaning twice, they'll try to keep you there.

If the owners can do it by chat or email, they might be more likely to cooperate than if they have to do it by phone (which could require long wait times). I think it can be done that way, but I'm not positive.

@jenbear123, as Best Aunt says, They can do it by chat or email. No need to call.
