Extending Free Dining Package

We're all booked for a free dining package at CBR the week before Thanksgiving and we got a great deal on a flight one day later than our checkout. I've called a few times to see if we can extend a day, but nothing has been available.

Has anyone had luck extending their package by a day? I'm wondering if it's even worth calling. Is 45 days out the latest people can cancel? Wondering if there will be availability as that date gets closer.

we had same situation, and had no luck finding anything affordable. so we're just staying off site our last night

45 days out or so you'll see a lot of cancellations. And people do change their dates even closer.

I'd book a RO for the night as a backup and keep trying.

2 or 3 years ago we changed our dates (moving the whole trip up by 1 day) about 1 week before we arrived. It actually saved us $20 and Disney even refunded the money (no change fee surprised me since it is listed in the terms that they would charge us $50). That was a long time ago in "Disney Years" though, with the resorts so packed these days I'm sure it is much harder to do.

We are going the same time. Family of 5 for CBR Originally we wanted to check in Sat. nov 14 and check out Sat. Nov 21 but CBR never had an opening for the 21 when the free dining was available so we decided to check in 14 check out Friday Nov 20. Then we got an awesome deal on airfare 98.00 round trip after taxes!!! but we fly in Fri. 13 which showed completely booked but I called and they said they would send for review and call me back in 48 hours. I never got a call back but the next day I checked our reservation and it was showing check in 13th so I was super excited.

Wow! You must have had a really helpful Cast member. I've called four times and none have done anything beyond just checking that moment. Nice work on the flight deal!

I'm wondering if we'll be able to pull off the same thing, in our case the flight we want is only available the day after we're supposed to be checking out. If we can't we'll book RO and just eat CS, we'll be stuffed at that point anyway!

I booked room only as a back up, but we were able to cancel it and add a night to our FD package for December at CBR. I had to upgrade from standard to pool/water view, but we got our extra night and an extra night of meal credits, so we went for it.
