extended park hours 1st week in December, 2007 - why?

Is there anything special going on during the week of December 1st - December 9th - besides the Pop Warner Classic? They have extended the park hours at Magic Kingdom (Saturday til 1:00 am) and Animal Kingdom (til 7:00) on a value week, so I was wondering if we should expect higher than normal crowds for this week of vacation.

Any help would be grateful!!

i'm not 100% sure but I think Mousefest is that week. There are usually quite a bit of people that attend.

They've bumped up the hours for pretty much all of december, some have speculated that it's to help make up for the number of nights MVMCP takes up. 2nd week is the same, and I think the 3rd is also

The MVMCP is in full swing by then. Not to worry, we have been there three times during that timeframe and it has nothing to do with expactably large crowds.
