Extended Magic Kingdom Hours December 9th!!

I just noticed that the Magic Kingdom will close at 11 pm on December 9th. Previously the posted closing time was 10 pm. We were debating going to the park that day because we can't go until 3 or 4 pm and now that the hours are extended there's a good chance we'll go!!

All the Spectro and Wishes times are the same. I think this day will be more crowded. A lot of the tour websites are saying this will be a more crowded day than usual.

That is our arrival day. I think we will hang around the GF that day instead of going to the parks. After the 10th the crowd levels drop tremendously and build again starting the 15th.....our departure day. Keeping my fingers crossed for a slow week.

Thanks for the post, I would have spent money on a park day!

The hours for MGM (or DS whatever is the correct abbrev) have also been changed for the week of December 9th to at least the 16th. Previously, it was posted to end at 7:00 now it says 8:00!! Woopee one more hour to play!
