Extended length in ownership?

What's the chances Disney opens up extended ownership at BWV, VWL, or BCV for extended ownership like they did with OKW?

there's also a poll around somewhere - IIRC, a large majority expect more extensions.

Can be anyone's guess. OKW extension was the experiment. If Disney liked the results of that experiment, it may do others. If not, it may hold off offering any extension on others for many years or never offer one.

I would love an extension on Boardwalk or Wilderness. If they do, that's where we're going! no questions asked!

Now with the extension, did they adjust the chart as far as how many points it took to book a location?

no. they did adjust OKW's chart several years back but just that one time.

It's a little more complicated with DVC resorts that share amenities with hotels, unlike the stand-alone resorts.

With OKW's extension, there was only OKW to consider. If DVC was to extend VWL (for example) they'd have to have some committment from the WL that the Lodge would be around for the same extended period of time - and a decision like that would involve agreement between Disney Hotels and DVC.

Despite that complication, I think that any extensions to the older resorts would interest many of us! We can only hope.
