So how do all you folks manage these 4 week holidays? Don't you need to earn a crust? And multiple WDW visits in a year? I'm going wrong somewhere!!

Well cant speak for everybody else, as we dont have multiple visits!!!.

We save hard all year(neither of us smoke and Im tee-total), we dont have Credit cards, or get ourselves up to our eyes in debt from one year to another. For us we save save save through the year and have a great holiday. We do disney every other year, and have a cheaper holiday inbetween. Next year were of to las vegas and the grand canyon, but 2005 is already pencilied in for WDW again!!.

Jules:)

We don't do multiple trips in a year but we do visit for anywhere between 2-3 weeks each year. I'm lucky in that I work part-time - used to be week on, week off but now I work approx 8 weeks on, 8 weeks off so I have no trouble getting time off work. DH is a black taxi driver in London so he can take time off whenever it suits us. DS is only in year 4 so have no ethical problem in taking him out of school so we can go May/June time. We don't drink, don't smoke and very rarely go out - we just save all our money so that we can go and visit Mickey!!

LOL Kimkie - let's just say I got lucky and I'm living for the now ;)

Hi Fantasia Sam, can't say fairer than that! I thought I was lucky to get to Disney every few years!!

We do multiple trips. We fund it through the 600 exam papers I mark in Feb and July each year!! (over & above my normal job):p

Don't go more than once a year,we may try for xmas, this year was a lastminute booking,so we are saving like mad! cutting down on treats (take'aways , shopping etc),we dont smoke or drink...and dont go out either lol. (sad life we have)!! but its worth all the hard work.
Luckily dp is self employed, and can take time off when he wants, and im a stay at home mum with our 3year old...

We had a little good news when the interest on dp's money came through the other day so thats helped alittle to the holiday! :)

Would love to go for 4weeks would love to go on a one way ticket but thats a little unrealistic at this moment in time lol!!!

I guess the answer is to be successful and self employed!
Meanwhile I'll dust dream on. A one way ticket..... Mmmmm..;)

I'm with Signtalker, the secret is to save, save and save.

I just wish with all my heart that we had never gone to Florida last year - because now I would still be in blissful ignorance!!!!!

Just think I would not be destined to be poor for the rest of my life - I could afford to buy shoes for my children and the occasional meal - instead I am now forced to save save save for my next disney fix and myself and my family have lost so much weight through lack of food we are now shadows of our former selves ( I wish) so perhaps we could share seats on the 'plane.

Does Virgin allow this?
