Will be staying at Universal in January for a couple of days for a trip that I would envision including me, my wife, my daughter, and 2 sets of grandparents. Total of 6 adults (3 couples) and one child.

Trying to figure out the best strategy for accommodations. Do any of the hotels (looking at the 3 that offer FOTL access, not Cabana Bay) offer family suites large enough to accommodate that size group? Would we be better off just doing multiple rooms? Any other ideas?

TIA

The Royal Pacific and Portofino have suites with adjoining rooms that you can get. The Portofino and Villa suites at the Portofino have one bedroom with two queen beds and then a pull out sofa in the living room. Personally, for comfort sake, I'd just get adjoining rooms.

An advantage of separate rooms is the bathroom situation. I could not imagine 7 people (6 adults) trying to use 1 or to 1 and a half bathroom(s) at the same time to get ready in the morning.
