Extended Evenings - Long Term or Just this Year?

I am reading posts about the new Genie+ and saw someone mention extra evening magic hours. I must have missed this announcement, but just looked it up and it's available to guests at Deluxe resorts and Villas. Anyone know if this is just for this year (Oct - Dec) or are they extending to 2022? We are coming August and staying at Contemporary. I'm guessing it's just 2021, or perhaps will be based on how well these resorts are being booked.

I haven't seen anything definite. Every few weeks they've been adding some more so far but who knows when that will end.

Does anyone know what is actually open during the extra evening hours? Will Ratatouille be open at Epcot and will there be a standby line for it? I hate trying to plan for an early December trip when everything is so up in the air.

Ratatouille is not included at this time.

Thought it might be helpful for you to have a list of those posted by Disney. I took this directly from their website.

These are the participating hotels. If you are checking out of deluxe on an extended evening day you can still use the privilege of extended hours till midnight. I confirmed this with three different CMs. It never made sense to me that the Destino Towers would not be in this classification since a room here is close in cost to a room at WL or AKL Standard. But one never knows the reasoning and it could all change tomorrow.
