Extended Evening Theme Park Hours for DVC

it’s been noted this isn’t a dvc perk specifically but man. I made the mistake of going to Epcot early last night and doing genie plus. From 9 to 11am it was completely dead. You can literally do anything

The Swalphin has a special agreement of being treated like onsite hotels.
Pure speculation here: is the reason that Swolphin lost disney bus transportation access was somewhat of a trade with Disney allowing them to build the Swan Reserve? I could see WDW not wanting to provide bus transport for the added third party rooms.

Did you mean '9 to 11PM'?

Where do you find out about the EE,,,how far in advance do they post...thanks

They are on the WDW website. They are typically Monday night for Epcot and Wednesday night for MK. I believe it has been stated they will continue for 2023.

There have been a few times they have added HS, but I think that was just December?

I’d love for someone to do some leather-shoe reporting and find out how Swan Reserve was built. I’d imagine that Disney transportation MAY have been part of that trade off, along with potentially other things…. It was quite rancorous how Swan and Dolphin got developed in the first place… and it is interesting that Disney was willing to allow for expansion of non-WDW hotels, at the moment they have been CONVERTING Disney hotels to DVC… I wonder if some of it was a Chapek idea to reduce staffing needs in the park staff. He strikes me as the type of guy who would not have wanted the Eisner approach to building grand theatrical expensive hotels staffed and run by Disney… (To be fair, most people would with a background in accounting would have hated Eisner’s idea as well!)

I guess we DVC owners are happy to pay whatever Disney transportation charges, instead. Or rather, the DVC management company accept anything charged by other Disney business units, on our behalf.
