When do they announce what days will have the extended hours for park guests? We were planning some resort days in between and with needing a park reservation it’s very hard to plan now what days will be park or rest since we can’t switch around last min. How is everyone planning to use extended hours when the calendars don’t come out until closer to your trip dates? Any tips are greatly appreciated.

If you're asking about the free extended evening hours once a week at EP and MK for deluxe guests - it seems like 98% of the time EPCOT is Monday night and MK is Wednesday night - unless some special event is going on. It's been that pattern for awhile now, and might be a good starting point for your planning.

Yes for deluxe guests. Thank you! I’ll try to plan around those tentative days!

It's rope drop to extended hours for us..... then sleep in and take a day off to recover.
That works!! Were early risers every day. Hit the parks hard til lunch, then afternoons by the pool. We come from West Coast Canada so we do ten day trips.

Look at how far out the current calendar goes, though I think it is due for an update in the coming day. So even better would be to keep an eye on the current calendar postings and see when they post the next batch of updates.

At present, every park is available every day if you are a regular ticket holder. Even Easter, all 4 parks are available. The only limits are for AP holders, and they are minimal: MK is not available for AP holders around the time of the Tron previews and Tron opening date. Otherwise all 3 parks are available every day.

Mind, if you need to change a park reservation, I don't advise waiting until the last minute, but it should be relatively easy to cancel and rebook your reservations if you see that the extra hours do not align with your park reservations.

I was looking forward to taking advantage of Extra evening hours as we are staying at Dolphin, and finally have kids old enough to do it. I'll be with my Granddaughter age 10, and niece age 13. I hadn't noticed that it was so limited, I had envisioned it was like early entry, every day, and more parks, except AK ( I had heard it wasn't involved due to the animals) We will be only 3 days in the parks, T, Wed, Thurs, so I guess only MK on Wed is for us. ( those were add on days prior to a cruise) I was looking forward to extra time in the evening as we will be there in Aug!

Do they ever add evenings/other parks in the busy, hot summer months?

They only started these deluxe extra hours for the 50th anniversary. It has only been the 2 days a week, usually the Monday Epcot / Wednesday MK schedule as posted above. They did not add any extra days or parks last summer. Very rarely they changed the day or the park because of other events.

Last week they announced paid Disney After Hours events in the summer. Epcot is on Thursdays in August.

Thank you! That’s great info!

I'm sorry, I asked this question on another thread but before I make my park ressies I just wanted to double check b/c.... I am neurotic.

To attend MK or Epcot EEH do you need to initially reserve that particular park for the day.....or can I just hop there?

You can hop there if you have park hopper tickets or AP

You can hop.
I posted that a while ago. I think that post was directed to someone who might not have hoppers.

Question for the EEH pros. Do you qualify for the EEH for both the night you stay and your checkout day? (i.e. if I stay on Aug 6 at BW but move to a Moderate for the 7th do I still qualify for the EEH at Epcot for Aug 7?)

Yes, you get all the benefits of resort you checked out of til midnight on checkout day

As mentioned, yes, you qualify, BUT there will not necessarily be much in the way of transportation to a non deluxe resort at the end of the night. Just be prepared for a Lyft or to seek out someone to get you back.
