Extended Evening Hours, After Hours 2023 - So Confusing

Yeah I don't understand the rationale of making us choose between deluxe hours and after hours parties on the same days.

The first MK After Hours is 9 January which the EE calendar does not yet cover. It's still possible that EE nights might change during weeks with After Hours. I'm probably being overly hopeful, but maybe?

I just keep thinking that there has to be a change somewhere. It makes no sense doing them on the same night, since you'd think they'd spread them out in order to make as much money as possible. But then again, when has Disney ever made logical decisions?

That’s true, but DAH @ studios is January 4th, same night as deluxe resorts extra evening hours @ MK. To me, that’s the day that will be the bigger decision for many people. Not sure that many people will miss going to Epcot’s on a Monday. Or maybe that’s just me.

Agree with that HS pay After Hours is what is most interesting to us.

This is even better news for deluxe. At least some people will go to paid events and there will be even less people at deluxe EEH!

I remember back in the 90's E Ticket Nights at MK. You paid $20 and got a wrist band. At Park close, those with wristbands got an extra 3 hours in the park. Most rides were walk on. There were times just my wife and I would be strolling through Frontierland with nobody within 50 ft. of us!

Not to mention announcing it after tickets went on sale. Ugh, knew I should have waited.
