Leaving on my (solo) cruise in a week and I'm pretty psyched. I originally planned on doing DCL transport back to WDW, but then an awesome friend invited me on a complimentary VIP tour for the day I disembark. I obviously want to get there as quickly as possible to join up with them so am planning on doing express walk-off. But as I've been packing I've come to the realization I will need to have 2 suitcases (large and medium Away cases). I can definitely handle them myself (both are newer rolling cases and I managed perfectly well with them when in Asia by myself last year). But is that a problem for express walk-off? I've never done it before, as I've only done one cruise and we just left after breakfast.

Thanks in advance!

It won't be a problem as long as you can manage both bags on your own. And remember that the elevators can be insanely busy on debarkation morning.

Ok, thanks! Luckily I'm just on the 5th floor, so if it comes down to it, I should be able to carry them down 2 flights of stairs.

We’ve always done express walk off. This past time I was rolling two suitcases and no one said anything to me.

If you are arriving in PC, also remember that you debark on the second floor in the terminal. You need to take an elevator or manage your bags in the escalator. The wait for the elevator can be quite long. We find it’s just faster to find our bags downstairs then to wait for that elevator, but our bags do not fit in the ecalator.

Another option is to check your bags the night before, take the stairs down early to grab a spot near the front of the line so you can leave just after the express walkoff folks, and then hire one of the porters to help you locate your bags. We did this and they are super fast and make it easy to get through the terminal. We had private transportation and were at WDW by 8:45 am--barely missed any park time after checking our bag at the hotel and getting through security (though we were staying at Yacht Club and heading into Epcot, so hotel location was also critical).
