I purchased (4) 7 day unlimited passes for our Universal visit in May, I looked at the express past plus option but didn't notice you can scroll down the screen to get pick from different dates. First...is it worth getting the pass for a 2 day weekend? Also can I still purchase this option even I already have the park tickets purchased electronically? Also if I can buy them...which park would be better to get it for out of the 2? I am going to get just a 1 day express plus pass to one park.

You can just buy them at the park if you think the lines are too long.

Ok...thats good to know.....are they the same price as online do you know? I can buy a 1 day express pass for $20 for my dates right now.

Most of the time, they are the same price online as they are at the park. I'd certainly wait and see if you actually need if. It doesn't sound like you are going at a particularly busy time.

Weekends tend to be a little more packed than weekdays because of us locals. If I had to choose one park in which to use Express pass, I would choose IOA. But like the others say, just wait until you get there and buy the pass if needed.

For those of you who live there..... what do you think I should do for my upcoming trip, March 1-4th.... should I buy a hotel night stay when I'm already staying at Disney to get front of the line passes? OR.... do I wait and purchase if I get there and the lines are long? I have a 6 and 4 year old, and waiting in lines gets awfully tiredsome when I have to pick my kids up and HOLD them. UGH! So any opinions to help with my decision would be ever so greatly appreciated, as I dont know what to do!!!!!

Oh, and how much is parking?? Would that weigh in on buying a hotel stay, so I can park at the hotel for free and use their transportation, and just not stay at the hotel?

HELP?!?!

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR SUGGESTIONS!

Jodi, I would actually book a night beforehand and use it. It is so nice with little ones just to be able to go back to the hotel for a few hours and rest up. When you stay onsite, the express pass is unlimited as compared to when you purchase the express pass plus. I have found with kids, they often like to ride the same thing over and over again. This would be very doable if you are staying onsite.

The hotels are beautiful and it just enhances your whole experience to stay a night onsite. Staying one night also entitles you to two full days of express line access. I would cancel one night at Disney and stay one night at Universal instead.

We visited USO the first week of March 3 years running and the crods were very low, nothing like WDW the same week, especially if you get to the parks at opening.

However, one year we stayed at the Hard Rock and it was SO AWESOME. You could literally walk past the Hard Rock pool and be at the Studios in five minutes. Our kids were 2 and 4 then and was that awesome. And the express perk is amazing.

We find the Universal hotels outrageously priced these days (like WDW hotels), but back in 2003, when we got HRH for $160 on hotelkingdom.com, that was wonderful!

I don't think you'll need express on March 1-2, and 4th. But I do think you will need it on the 3rd. Just decide if the price you would pay for express for everyone in your party on the 3rd is close to the price of staying onsite one night.

Just remember, parking at the onsite hotels is not free, they charge you specific amount per night to keep your car in their lot, at least that the was case in June '04.

My sister lives in Oviedo, can she get a better deal on booking a hotel for us??? If I decided to go that route??? Since she's a Florida resident???

If I went on March 3rd, I wonder if I would truly need a front of the line pass...... I'm still up on the air on which day to go, which tickets to buy..... UGh...decisions, decisions.... as both darling daughters age, 6 and 4, want to definitely go to Sea World this year too, so now I have to find a day to fit that in as well.

So I have to fit in IOA, Universal, and Seaworld, along with Disney.... oh boy.... :scared1:
