Sorry, I've never been during that time, so I can't help with the specific question.

However, you can wait until you get there to decide. You can buy them in the park, so if lines are too long for your liking, just add them.

if you go on Universals website you can go to Tickets, then you can find the different types of express passes. you can go to your dates and see the prices for the tickets. The higher price for your days mean the parks are expected to be crowded, with the lower price not much of a crowd. One category goes from $64.95 to $89.95 per day (89 would of course meaqn they expect a crowd.)
