Was wondering how long do you typically have to wait if you get the express pass? Is it like Disney that you are told to come back another time? Just wondering how Universal does this, thanks!

No, it's actually a pass that you buy. If you buy the Express Pass in the park, it's good for 1 access per person through every Express Line in the park. Every ride and show in the park takes Express except Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, and Pteranadon Flyers.

If you stay onsite, your room key can be used as Express pass access, and you can go an unlimited amount of times through the Express lines. Want to ride Hulk 6 times? Go for it, you'll wait a minimum amount each time (under 15 minutes, but it's usually 2 - 5 minutes).

The price for the purchased Express in the park vary per day. You can check their website to see how much they will be during your visit.

Just to add to what Timmy stated...there is no return time with the EPs...you can ride whenever you want.

Also some of the rides can get longer than 15 minutes at peak times in the middle of the day, but it is rare. They just advertise 15 minutes or less.

i read in your siggie that you will be in orlando for your honeymoon in about 3.5 weeks.

if you plan to take in a day for universal, you are probably looking at the end of august.

things, such as crowds, slow down the end of august.

line waits are not bad.


if you are in the park and find huge lines for rides and shows, you can buy the express pass inside the park.

but, i doubt you will encounter a line issue.
