Hi! I recently bought my tickets for US and IoA for our visit in August! They came in the post today and I looked at the express pass plus tickets that we purchased! Now when I booked them it asked for specific days for the use of them! Then on the tickets they were open dated and open park! Does anyone know why this is? I also got them from the US website that had .co.uk at the end as I am from the UK! :)

Not sure...probably something to do with their system requiring a date to be entered to purchase.

Tickets to enter the parks are not date restricted - they can be used any day of the year, so they have no date information on them.

Express passes are restricted to a specific date. Universal limits the number of passes they sell each day, otherwise they could wind up with a long wait in the express lines, leading to complaints, riots, etc. So you had to pick a date for your express passes, and it's printed on the pass.

But the tickets and passes aren't tied to each other, so the fact that you bought Express passes for specific days doesn't affect your tickets at all. If for some reason you couldn't go on your trip, you'd be out of luck on the Express Passes, but your tickets would still be valid for a later trip.

Ah sorry I realised the post doesn't make a whole lot if sense! The express passes are undated as are the tickets which is what confused me! :)

the EP's are date and park related.

if they weren't, many would buy the EP's when their cost is $19.99 and use them on the dates that had a higher price for them, which would mean a packed park day.

Can you take a photo for us? Is it maybe just a voucher?

I'm trying to find some recent photos of express pass plusses for you to compare but I can't seem to find any.
