Express Pass needed?

My husband and I are planning a day for a first time visit to Universal on Tuesday, Dec. 2. I have a plan for touring but was wondering if we need express passes for that time of year. I'm clueless having not been before. Any help would be appreciated.

You can buy the passes right in the park if necessary. I wouldn't buy one until it looked like you would need them.

For that time of year you probably won't need an Express pass.

That's a Friday so it will pick up some...the huge crowds don't arrive until 12/26 so you should still be OK.
