Express Pass Lines

spending our honeymoon in universal in July

apologies if this has been answered already

we are staying portofino so have express pass

we want to use the pass as much as possible but don't want to miss out on any of in q features

is there any express lines which miss out on q features of the normal lines

i hope my post isn't confusing

I think all of the express lines miss out.

Mummy misses out on a lot (you just go through some back corridors). The Potter rides are not bad but you certainly don't see everything. Kong misses quite a bit as well. Men in Black misses out on a lot but I wouldn't worry about that one. ET skips a lot of the forest.

It's awful. You miss out on the Waiting feature on Every. Single. Line!

They all miss out, not all queues are great though, the harry potter ones are the best and only good ones.

Spider-Man, which is one of my favorite queues, you definitely miss out on. Even though most you still remain in the regular queue, because you aren't stopping as frequently you will probably be walking quickly through and not have a lot of time to enjoy it (mainly, the Harry Potter rides). I would recommend doing the rides multiple times. Once through without Express, to experience the queues, and then the rest with Express. Enjoy and congrats on getting married.

We went through the regular queue for Forbidden Journey during the early park hour because they don't do express during that time. I didn't think it was much more to see. You go through a little bit more but I noticed some of the moving pictures are the exact same as the ones in the express waiting area. Other than that, I have only ever done express so that's all I have to offer. Oh, and Gringotts is exactly the same for everyone. The express line is just off to the side and more of them are let in. So you gain absolutely nothing if you do the regular line for that.

I have to disagree with Xxcharlotteoxx I think there are a bunch of very good queue lines other then the Potter ones. We really liked Mummy, Kong, Spidey, Simpsons and Fallon as well.

What am I missing about the Fallon queue? It is the same for everyone. When we went over Spring Break you could only get in two ways. Express or make a reservation to come back at a certain time. So everyone that was allowed in the building did the exact same thing. Really awesome way of having people wait, by the way, kept us entertained the entire time. We actually didn't even want to leave the room with the TV screens, we enjoyed all the funny clips.
