We are staying at HRH so we will have express pass via the perk of onsite stay. My sister and brother in law are Florida residents and may join is in the parks for a day or two. Is there an option to purchase the same pass as we have with the hotel room key?

Everything I have read about so far is one time per ride vs the unlimited access via staying onsite so I was hoping we could chip in so they would have the same access as we do.
TIA

Your best bet is probably to add them to your room. It will cost an extra $25 per person per night but then they will have the exact same unlimited access that you have. You get the onsite express pass for the day you check in and check out. You can have a maximum of 4 adults in a room or 5 people in total. Not sure how many are in your family.

The alternative is purchasing the VIP ticket. It is a park entrance ticket that includes unlimited express access just like the hotels. It will be much more expensive than just adding them to your room.

You might need to do a combination of the two if the occupancy isn't going to work.

Actually I can add my sister at no charge as it is just me and my two dd's in the room and just one of us is over 18:) but my room capacity is 4. So I think we will have to purchase the express privlidge for my brother in law.

I was just hoping it would be the same as ours and not limited to one time per ride.

Oh - and thanks damo as you have answered most of my questions on various threads !!

You can purchase an unlimited express pass. Check the bottom of this page ... http://www.universalorlando.com/Theme-Park-Tickets/Universal-Express/Express-Passes.aspx#p2p

What type of room do you have that the capacity is 4?

Thanks that is perfect - pricey... but perfect! We have a 2 queen pool view at HRH for myself and my 2 daughters.

That room has an occupancy of 5. You can put all 3 adults on there and two kids. You would just have to pay an extra $25/night.

No way -that's cool ! If they can "legally" crash with us would the extra $25 cover the cost of a cot? This way they may do two days at the parks instead of one = more time with famlily :)

You are a wealth of info.

Glad to be of help. I would call the hotel in advance to get it all organized and get everyone put on the reservation ahead of time. It just saves time. Just make sure you let reservations know what nights you will be booking with the extra adults if it isn't for all the nights. That way, you won't be paying the extra for all the nights and their keys will get made out for the correct nights.

Don't forget to go to the kiosk at the hotel to get the special express passes made. They can also get made at guest services at the parks.

It is an extra $25 for a cot. Or someone can bring along an air mattress.

Problem solved - they are getting their own room :)
All the names are straight and we will definately get our express passes at the HRH Kiosk.
Now I just have to wait a week - maybe the hardest part!
