Express Pass during Diagon Alley opening

where are you getting your info? Everywhere Ive read gringotts won't have an express line... not even for hotel guests anymore. Forbidden journey would have one before gringotts would be my thoughts.

I have heard that hogwarts express may do something similar to a disney fastpass...

The Express Pass lanes are built into the queue but won't be used any time soon. They have to be built into the queue area so construction won't have to be done again when EPs are accepted. I think that's what the PP meant. The lanes will be there but will not be used for Express.

The main reason FJ doesn't have express open is that the express line built during construction is used for the extremely popular castle tour line for non-riders specifically all the kids that are not quite tall enough to ride but love Harry Potter. The wait time are well below DM and Transformers most days so if not for the tour line I think FJ would have started taking express passes a while ago.

You're right..Our first trip we wanted just to walk thru first and the Tms sent us on the regular line.They looked at me like I was nuts when I asked about a castle-tour line ( we went late Jan 2012).It wasn't peak time either

Then it makes no since to me why they haven't started express on FJ. The wait time on DM has been approaching 2 hours (100+) every time I looked the past 2 weeks and the FJ is usual around 1 hour. Transformers also has a longer then hour wait most of the time. But, both DM and transformer practically opened with their express line running. I just feel like there has to be some good reason for not opening the express line on FJ. I have heard from friends of mine that asked TMs it had to do with the castle tours. If that's isn't the reason I wonder why Universal is dragging their feet about opening the express line.

If the masses still visit that whole area then there is no need. The other 2 attractions have it so one does not. We don't do the regular line anyways. Single rider is the best. I have waited no more that a few minutes to walk on that way. Besides it's not like you can really see you family and friends on the ride. The only reason to do a group would be for the picture only.

Not sure..But Despicable me isnt a great gauge of anything though.Even in slow times with express pass there is often a wait..

For those familiar with him, Robert Niles was reporting months ago that Gringotts will have Express Pass from the get-go. He's down there right now but I haven't seen an update whether that's still the case.

It would be truly awesome if it did have express pass, but I am not going till Jan 2015 so it could happen by then maybe
