DH and I are going to Universal for one day during our upcoming trip. We are spending the rest of the week at Disney. We bought the Costco tickets where you can use any three days during the next three years. Those tickets are also park hoppers. We plan to focus on IOA , but if we have time we might pop over to the US to check things out. DH has never been to Universal. I have been to IOA once and the US three times, but it has been about 10 years since my last trip to either park.

Since we are only there for 1 day, we plan to get Express Pass, which leads to my question. We have a DD who will be 21 months at the time of our trip. Do we need an Express Pass for her? I wouldn't think so since she doesn't need a ticket, but I thought I would double check. Obviously, she won't be able to do many of the rides, but there are some things she can do.

An Express Plus pass is not needed for anyone under the age of three so you're OK. Make sure you take advantage of the child swap so you can ride the bigger attractions and not have to worry about her.

It all depends on when you go. If you go during peak time it is a lot more difficult to get things done than if you go in a moderate or low crowd time.
