Express needed Oct 15-17

We have 2 1/2 days for both parks this year on Oct 15-17. Only 2 of my family of 4 like roller coasters so I don't anticipate doing those more than once a day. We like seeing the shows and doing the character interactions as much as the rides. Do you think express will be needed? I know the parks close early on the 16th-17th and we will not be doing HHN. Thanks for any insight you can provide. Its been about 12 years since I've been to the parks and this will be the first time for wife and boys (11 and 9).

No...you won't need EPs during that time. However, if you get to the park and decide the lines are too long, you can purchase EPs throughout both parks.
