Ok, it's C-O-L-D here! We've been here touring since Saturday and we've been in coats, hats, gloves, etc all week! When the wind blows it's biting! If you have kids in strollers, a blanket is a must!

Of course, all I brought to run in Saturday morning was my running skirt and a couple of different tops but certainly not my good tights or layers! DARN!

Luckily I have my own car so I can go to Target or the Nike outlet to get some running tights. But I really need a headband the covers the ears which I have to have when I run in cold weather back home in VA. I didn't find one yet. Anyone know if I'll be able to find one at the expo?

Thanks!

SHould....that's where I got mine in 01.

Have you been to the UA outlet at the Prime Outlets??

There is also a reebok, north face, nike, okley and IP shop. I know you could get something there

In 2006, I bought some disposable cold weather gear at the expo, so I would imagine that it would be there this year. Especially since the cold weather didn't sneak up on Thursday night or something - Florida has been cold for a week or more, so the vendors have had plenty of time to adjust what they are bringing.

Thank you for the live report - cold? :faint:

I could bring an extra polar tech type ear/head band to the Pop meet...

but I am thinking about getting the ones at the expo - the polar tech ones tend to shift off the ears - its annoying honestly! almost as annoying as COLD ears!!

when I ran outside in the cold here (near Chicago) I just wrapped a head scarf that was part hat - part scarf... so it went over the ears around the neck and over the mouth - surely I wont need to bring that!!

I have one of those ski masks that you can roll up if you don't want it covering your whole face, but if you wear it like a ski mask, it has an opening for your eyes and your mouth. Alabama boys like me don't do well in this cold stuff. I finally learned how to layer with a compression shirt as my first layer so I don't sweat through the first wicking shirt and freeze.

Hey, one other question for you all. How many of you use fuel belts?? Will this weather make the need for fuel belts go down? I need to look at the race map to see which miles on the half have water.

I've been here since Monday and yes it's cold and the weekend will be even colder. I'm at the Boardwalk.
