What I'm reading is three separate incidents, at least 18 confirmed dead and 7 confirmed wounded. Explosions have been reported at the national stadium where France was playing Germany in soccer and hostages are being held at a theater. The third incident was a restaurant where a shooter with an AK-47 opened fire and is apparently still on the loose.
Absolutely terrifying. I can't imagine what it is like to be involved in this. It isn't like Paris is in a 3rd world country, this is happening in a country that should have great counter terrorism.
11 dead at a Korean restaurant near former Charlie Ebdo offices, 15 dead and approx 100 hostages , still ongoing at Paris Bataclan concert hall, explosions outside Stade de France, attempted suicade bombs , all within few minutes of each other.
Im watching www.sky.com/news who have live feed from Paris media
It may have been logistically easier for them to strike in France today. Again, it is speculation, but it is not uncommon for general "western" targets to be struck to make a point, even if that specific target had nothing to do with the original event.
I understand speculation at this point but you have no basis that it had anything to do with Syrian refugees. 99% of refugees are trying to get away from the very same things.
