Exploding Box

I will have to bookmark that. My Grandma really enjoyed the paint can from last Christmas, and I think she would go nuts over this too.

Thanks for the link Nancy. That's something my grandma would LOVE!

They are great I made one for a swap on another site. I made a craftrobo gsd file for an exploding box (regular size) and a mini exploding box that is about 2 inches tall. Nancy you could add exploding boxes to muy list of things for the craftrobo on the swaps board (punches and such). I would trade some people exploding boxes ready to decorate for designs off the Disney cricut.

Those are the best directions I have seen for this! Thanks for sharing!!

I did the Disney exploding box class at SDV Orlando last year and ever since then I've been making them like crazy!

The box I have directions for is slightly bigger I think because the base uses a full size 12 x12 but it's basically the same concept---except you use the excess squares to make pockets and journaling flaps. It comes really really cute. Here's a photo of the box I made for friends on my October cruise, my scrapbooking skills are better than my photography skills, sorry for the bad quality.

Wow, LOVE the cruise box! Nice job!

Diana Lyn..
Love it... omg.. too cute...

Off to figure out what I want to do the first one in... Maybe DS10's basketball "Journey to the Final Four"...

Just another idea for gifts using these boxes---my sister just turned 14. I made her a box with all girly sayings on it and put 5 $10 gift cards to her favorite stores in the little pockets with tags. Not that $10 is going to get you very far in a place like abercrombie or hollister---but it's still a fun gift for a teen.

See, it's the pocket thing I need the info on...any way you could instruct on your box...like a cyber class? Please?

Here's the box I made for my sister. I used her favorite colors pink and green and just added lots of tags and pockets. I made some into pockets double pockets and put fun sayings inside the journaling flaps like Top Secret and Girls Just Want to Have Fun.
