how does Ohana breakfast work? I've never been there, it's all you can eat? but not a buffet? How do you get your food? How do you make your selections?

The food is served family style which means that it is brought out on big trays for the entire table. It is all you can eat and you have a server. If you need more of something you ask and they will bring it out. It's a pre-determined menu of the usual breakfast items. Eggs, potatoes, sausage, waffles, fresh fruit and bread. They also have a really great juice.

IMO, it's better than a buffet. The food is very good.

It is all you can eat, but it is served to you family style. You are brought a huge dish which has eggs, potatoes, sausage, mickey waffles & biscuits - if you want more you just ask for it. Also, there is some very good bread & juice with the breakfast. This is one of our favorite breakfasts.

One of our absolute favorite character meals!!:thumbsup2

Ok, I'll walk you through it...First you get a picture taken at the entrance in front of the Ohana sign wearing your leis. Your server will then walk you to your table stopping along the way to pick up some amazingly delish pineapple sticky bread! Once you arrive at your table, your server brings fresh fruit and takes your drink order, make sure you order the Polynesian juice (orange, passion fruit and guava!). Another server comes around with Mickey waffles still warm from the griddle. Then they bring out a large platter of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, fried potatoes and biscuits. They will bring you more of anything you'd like. Trust me when I say it's scrumptious!

Mickey, Lilo, Stitch and Pluto all come around seperately to visit at your table and then they lead all the kids (and some adults!) in a parade around the restaurant. Oh, a cast member comes around during your meal to show you the picture you took at the entrance and give you the option to buy it or not.

What is so great about this meal is that it is ALL brought to you! You don't have to get up for anything.:goodvibes

Great review! We usually do our sit down meal for dinner, but I may have to talk my family into getting up early one morning for this!
