Explain to me please!

Ok, so here is my deal, my family and I would like to go and stay at Disneyworld the week of March 25-31 2008. We are only going to be staying around 4-5 days. So we are obviously looking for the best value and I found out about this site. I just dont understand how it really workds. Do I have to be a vacation club member to buy points and use them? So if I could just get some help that would be nice.

It's possible to "rent" points from a DVC member for your stay. You should look at the DVC rental board for more information.

It may be a challenge to get a "value", either from WDW or renting points. That is the week right after Easter Sunday. The place is probably pretty full already and what rooms are available are probably not low priced.

That week after EAster will be very crowded and probably already heavily booked at many DVC resorts. If you are planning to rent during that time period, you need to contact someone and find out if your desired location and unit size are available. If you are flexible and will take either a studio or a 1 bedroom and aren't particular about which resort, you might have more luck. My guess is that studios are already getting scarce for that week.
