They just look plain old ugly to me...with the exception of the Aspen model. Why are they so great? Would they be appropriate to wear with dress pants? :confused3

They are ugly. I bought a khaki (light gray) pair last year after reading all the glowing reviews on this forum. They are ok. I wore them on our trip to WDW last September. My feet didn't tire or hurt for most of the day. But my feet did sweat, alot. Fortunately, the shoes are bacteria and odor resistant.

Croks are GREAT. We put on 80 miles on our last trip to WDW. Wear with or without socks. They are SO lightweight. :thumbsup2

I agree that they are ugly but I brought them on my last Disney vacation for that day when you kind of hit the wall.

You know that day?

Everything starts to hurt?

I wore them and my tired sore feet didn't hurt. I actually think that if I had worn them the entire trip I would not have had tired sore feet to begin with.

They say on their webbie site that moisture goes right through them, but I think my feet would sweat in these. Any other opinions?

I went to the website. Which model do people buy? I have to agree with the other posters that they do not seem very attractive.

Anyone try the kids model? How did they do?

We love our Crocs! Ok...so my kids begged me for them for months before I caved! I said they looked like clown shoes (my daughters friends all had hot pink and some of the boys had BRIGHT orange) and that I was not going to spend $30 on a fad that they wouldn't wear more than once or twice. I could not have been more wrong! My kids groan on gym days because they have to wear their tennis shoes instead of crocs...otherwise they wear them every day...and they are 8 and 4. Another huge bonus with kids...when my 4 year old goes out and digs in the mud I just take his crocs and scrub them in the bathtub...they're as good as new in minutes and dry enough to wear out again within 30 minutes! Gotta love that! So I then said I would NEVER buy them for myself...but I have foot problems and am so tired of sore feet that I finally bought a pair of sage Caymans and now I too groan when I need to wear something else! Yes, I do think of them as a casual shoe...when I wear them to the mall and other moms are dressed in their cute heels, etc. I feel a bit too casual...but my feet don't hurt and they will be on my feet for our whole disney trip!

I own a pair of black croc professionals. They are more streamlined and do not have the holes on top. I think they look great with pants or jeans. At first I was very unimpressed. But after 2 and half weeks I absolutely love them! In the parks they were truly a lifesaver. They were amazing. I hope to buy a few more pairs.

I agree that they are ugly...that said, I have mine on right now! Give them a try and you'll see why people love them. Personally I wouldn't wear them with dress pants but I do wear them with jeans sometimes. My office is business wear so they are around home and around town for me...I haven't tried them at WDW yet.

JUST BOUGHT TWO PAIRS (EMS) buy one $29.99 and get the second 1/2 off!! SO I bought lite blue and pink!!! LOVE THEM TO DEATH!! Damn comfy! I just came from WDW and Cruising on the WONDER and let me tell you EVERYONE HAD THEM (except me)!! Even DH who never notices anything, said WHAT ARE THOSE SHOES EVERYONE HAS ONE!! My DS's DGF says everyone has them on campus!!! They are very comfy and cushiony!!! I am in MASS where today is -10 so I am waiting until we get some Spring weather to wear them OUTSIDE of the house. But, yup, they are ugly but they are comfy!!! :thumbsup2

Where did you find the 1/2 off?? I just bought a pair of niles and love them! Want to get for the kids and DH

DH thinks they are ughly. However my kids beg to wear them and I usually let them. It saves me time all I have to say is put your CROCS on and DS7, DS4 and DD2 all grab them and put them on all by themselves. My DD2 looks too cute in her hot pink CROCS, this is when they are not ughly to her daddy :teeth: . I have a light blue pair I wear with jeans and I have a white pair I wear to work (I'm a dental hygienist). I have problems with my feet but not with my CROCS. Try them you may like them. :goodvibes

unfortunately the ones carried where i live are only the models that have double sizes (e.g., 6-7, 8-9, etc.)...
since i wear a 7 1/2 shoe, the 6-7 is too small for me and the 8-9 is too big...

i know they have a model that has exact whole sizes (e.g., 6, 7, 8, 9 etc.)...
but they don't carry them where i live, so i can't try them on...
and i'm not willing to take the risk of ordering them online.....i wouldn't know which one to order, the size 7 or the size 8...

so for now, i'm crocless.....my 18 year old son has a pair (he was the first in our family to get them), and my 21 year old daughter has a pair ....they both wear the khaki color and love them....they wear them year round here (we live in an orlando like climate....but without the humidity)

I heard from someone that if you put them in the dryer for a little while, they shrink just a little to fit better.
I was one of those that said would never buy those ugle things with the holes in them. I'm a nurse and my sister is a nurse and she told my I wouldn't be dissapointed if I bought them. So I settled for the ones without the holes in a light kakhai and I LOVE them. I never take them off when I'm at home or work.

The only pair I have is the Aspens and I do NOT find them attractive at all. They can make your feet sweat and they run short, but I was told that it was because they are the kind without holes. (I think I'm thinking of the Aspens.) People on the boards swear by them, but I was not particularly impressed. My plastic Birki's are my comfy than these. I'm not giving up though. I'll try a pair with holes, too.

i live in my birkenstocks (the kind without a backstrap)....i wear them year round, so it's not as if i'm desperate for the crocs....although they would be nice for the beach...
