It's been quite a while since we have been and it seems like a lot has changed so I need a tune-up : )

Was thinking of buying an annual pass so I can get the room discount for one number of our group. I want my immediate family to stay on site for a couple days, but my parents are not planning on it.

So, Royal Pacific would be 154 with the APH discount for the 2 adults and 2 kids. I was thinking of staying 2 nights, but want to meet up with my folks one day so I need to add them for an extra cost of $50 right? Can I add them to the ressie for just one night? I saw there is a max of 5 people per room so was thinking of having 1 night with 4 adults and one child (my other child will be 18 months old so not having a FOTL pass shouldn't be too horrible) Then, the other night just have the 2 adults and 2 kids.

Does that make sense, can I do that?

With staying on site are the perks getting in one hour early to IOA every day and then unlimited Express except for Pteradon flyers? Am I missing something? Do they always have early entry?

I also have to figure out what to do with my 1.5 year old if we are not allowed to bring him that one hour early, hmmm...

Also, what does baby swap look like?

Any thoughts?

Jenn

Yes fast pass works for everything except that and Forbidden Journey and Rip Ride Rocket, I think. It is generally worth it especially if you're going at a peak time (basically almost anytime between mid May and end of August.

For your other questions I would generally say yes, I think that is all doable, but it was a little confusing. :)

Oh and baby swap, you need 2 adults, one to hang at the BS while the other does the ride, then vice versa.

I don't think you will be able to have some people on the ressie one night and change the next. The room key cards are printed at the time you check in and has the full dates of your stay. I don't think it possible to split those dates.

I know you will have to list your 18 month old and they will get a room card also. Everyone in the room will receive a room card which is your express pass. This is how the hotel keeps their occupancy and fire codes right. So you will only be able to add one of your folks. I would call the front desk and tell them your problem. I might be wrong.:confused3

i'm not sure if you are planning to include the 18 month old on your ressie.
wouldn't that make it 6 people in the room for one night?

if that was the case, you wouldn't be allowed to book one room, you would need to book two rooms.

the occupancy level is 5 per room no matter what the ages are.
this is due to a fire code in orlando, not something the hotels decided upon on their own.
