Explain Fairy God Mailer

Let me see if this is right. When you go to Disneyland, you get like 5 or so postcards and send them to the kids of the people that PM you? I will be going in August, and would be happy to do that for someone. What do you write on the postcard?

We've done it and my kids had a blast sending them out (especially they were surprised by one of these mailings before the trip). I ask what message the disERs want on the postcard.

I always ask what message the person requesting the postcard(s) wants. I also ask what characters are the child's favorite and try to send something with that character on it. Some are easier then others.

Is there a certain thread to request a Fairy Godmailer? We are going the first week of August for my sons 5th birthday and a postcard would just add to his excitement!

You just wait for someone to post they are doing it, or you can post and ask someone to do it. When we did it I would post about 2 weeks beforehand that we were going and ask for x amount of sign ups.

Safety tip: Just make sure that everything is done by PM, don't post your address on the board. I also ask for a list of favorite characters (not just one) and what message to write. How many postcards depends on you, just make sure you post the number you are willing to do, and have anyone interested respond to the post (so others can follow the count) AND send you a PM. It's a lot of fun (I've both received and sent cards out), and a great way to spread the magic!
